Something is wrong. Start here.
These pages help you work out what is actually happening, in plain English, before you spend money on it. Sometimes the honest answer is that nothing is broken.
The most expensive mistake in this category is fixing the wrong problem. "My site is not on Google" is four completely different problems with four different fixes, and they are not interchangeable. A site that is not indexed needs one thing. A site that is indexed but ranking on page five needs something else entirely.
Each page below walks the likely causes in the order they actually occur, tells you what you can check yourself, and is honest about when a symptom is not a problem at all.

A note on diagnosis
None of these pages can tell you with certainty what is wrong with your specific site, and any page claiming otherwise is overselling. Websites fail for overlapping reasons, and the obvious cause is often not the real one.
What these pages do is narrow it down and stop you being sold a rebuild when you needed a setting changed. If you work through one and the answer is "leave it alone", that is a good outcome and we would rather you reached it than not.
